Rare and hard to find opening secret compartment Victorian ring featuring an oval black onyx gemstone with a forget me not flower carved in the front. Handcrafted in 14K gold, a fine engraved chased band opens to reveal a compartment that has plaited hair (can be removed). The inside of the band is engraved with 'Clarice'. This antique piece of mourning jewelry is extremely well crafted with the hinges seamless and the closure secure. A museum-quality piece!
